garbage in, garbage out
OOooooooooooo, I've been away too long.
I just returned from a trip to Argentina. (I don't tango, and am not interested in tango, so don't ask!)
Beautiful country, fabulous people, boring food.
What struck me is the garbage, and it isn't just Argentina. It is everywhere. And most of it comes from China. I used to think that it was an American-driven phenomenon, this garbage, and the stupid plastic commodities that litter our global landscape. One may argue that the demand comes from North America, but I argue that if it weren't produced nobody would demand it.
This may appear a lame argument, but I'd like to suggest a novel idea: why don't we all start thinking. Yes, thinking. And stop buying junk, stop buying what we don't need. Stop buying what won't last at least a generation. Stop using plastic bags.
Stop using plastic bags.
