Folkdance: Overview
Folkdancing is my passion, and I love sharing it with others. If you would like to experience this treat at a home party, conference, retreat, etc., contact me for pricing. I teach dances from: Romania, Bulgaria, Russian, Slovakia, Hungary, Macedonia, Croatia, Serbia, Armenia, Turkey, Israel, and Greece. One thing that works well and is lots of fun is to combine folk dance with traditional folk tales: the old stories, tales and legends from various cultures. Learn more about the country that your parents or grandparents came from through dance and folktales!
I have taught folkdance at home parties, for the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board Teachers' Summer Professional Development, at a Homeschooling Conference, and at Charles Hulse Public School for their Festival of Lights 2004 and 2005!
"I don't know, but I've been told, if you never stop dancing, you'll never grow old!"
